Thank you for considering me as a partner in your healing journey. I’m honored to support you in cultivating clarity, strength, and a renewed sense of wholeness.

As a licensed California Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at UC San Diego and the VA San Diego Healthcare System, I bring more than 20 years of experience in mental health care, education, and research. My work has spanned roles as a Staff Psychologist, Postdoctoral Fellow, and educator, giving me a foundation that bridges clinical practice and academic insight.

I value compassionate, evidence-based care that meets people where they are while guiding them toward growth and healing. My approach integrates empirically supported therapies with mindfulness, third-wave approaches, and Zen Buddhist principles. I believe in the transformative power of connection—to nature, consciousness, and the life force within each of us.

This practice is rooted in respect, empathy, and integrity. I see therapy not only as a way to manage symptoms but as a pathway to resilience, personal growth, and a deeper sense of meaning. I value the courage it takes to seek help and strive to create a safe, inclusive space where clients can discover strength, clarity, and self-actualization.
